What is Toyohari
Toyohari Meridian Therapy is a 2000 year old tradition of acupuncture with a difference - Toyohari does not Hurt. This method has been
recreated from the classical records, of the acupuncture received by the Chinese royal family, Huang Dynasty, circa 100ad. The re-creators
were the core group who started the Blind Acupuncture Assiciation in Japan in 1959.
In 1959 Kodo Fukushima, a blind acupuncturist founded the Toyohari Medical Association on diagnostic and treatment techniques.
Toyohari was originally only taught to the blind due to their exceptionally developed sense of touch. Now sighted practitioners can learn
these skills of finger tip sensitivity. Today the Toyohari Association is growing is Japan, the United States, Europe & Australasia.
Your practitioner moves from one point to the next
and after 4 to 6 points the body comes into balance. To follow, other painless modalities are added such as heat therapy, polarity, or
cupping. Over a course of 6 to 10 visits.
